In the last week a person or persons has started attacking both my Blogger blogs via the comments facility. To date, two recent posts on this blog are now affected and one post on the general blog. Now that it is clear this is a sustained and ongoing attack, and given the time it will take to complete a full trace, unfortunately I cannot publish any comments from anybody on either of my Blogger blogs for the foreseeable future. There is a list of suspects but doing the detective work takes time. I may switch certain activities to another blog or blogs to circumvent this problem in order to permit comments again and as per operational requirements. Comments can still be submitted to either of my Blogger blogs [if for example you want to send me a one-way anonymous message by that means] but comments submitted are unlikely now to be published for several weeks (or even months).

To Angel,

One of the comments I've just published on this blog with your Angel name on it was one of those which came with 'a nasty sting in the tail.' If that message was from you, my answer is that the arrangement of any legal combat contest between us can only be arranged as per my previously and publicly stated stipulations.

Twitter Wars

It's been an interesting past few days on Twitter. Twitter is currently serving as a platform for various people involved in vice who are vying with each other to spread as much muck about me as possible. In my opinion, Californian hardcore-pornographic trade advocate Michael Whiteacre wins the contest hands down. Whilst Whiteacre's moral compass is utterly depraved, and whilst the quality of his research and his sources are extremely dubious indeed, Whiteacre does at least have the courage to pursue his evil agenda whilst giving his name and showing his face (unlike LBB Angel). Of course no intelligent person would believe Whiteacre's claim that he is an 'independent filmmaker' as it is pretty obvious which team he is on - however strong Whiteacre's protestations denying any links to US hardcore pornographers such as Larry Flynt and Nina Hartley. So Michael Whiteacre wins my top Adult Biz Award for Best International Shit Merchant on Twitter 2012 and he beat the Brits by a long way. What LBB Angel fails to realise is that in not giving his real name and in posting an image of a man in his underpants on his Twitter account - his credibility is zero. Angel is the Head Pimp of Manchester and he is a serious and organised criminal running a major ring of vice gangsters - and yes he is a very dangerous and depraved man with a track record for intimidation of and violence towards his enemies - but you would think that he'd have realised that when he decided to take on the Christians - real men, not wimps and posers - he was taking on true hard men who were not going to be too bothered by his gangster antics posing in his underpants and talking a lot of BS. Am I afraid of Angel? No of course I'm not. He is a security risk and a known threat and that has to be taken seriously but I'm not afraid of the man - rather I pity this deluded fantasist who thinks he can parade in his underpants as cock of Manchester and receive respect from mainstream society outside of the criminal vice trade. Angel, if you read this: hand yourself in to Greater Manchester Police, confess your crimes and get the help you need. Otherwise, make sure you have clean underpants on every day because you will be pulled in sooner rather than later - you know your big date with destiny is coming this year. Angel isn't the only depraved weirdo on the internet who takes an interest in me. There's an anonymous person who writes an outrageously defamatory blog about me who recently invited me to sue him in a recent tweet. The clear implication of somebody saying 'sue me' is that they think they are either untouchable or that they have done nothing wrong and have got nothing to hide and nothing to lose: it is a very arrogant and mocking statement when it comes from one who is obviously engaged in very serious defamation. But here's the punchline... Ok anonymous lunatic, if you're so confident of yourself and the veracity and provenance of your blogging as to defiantly say 'sue me,' are you also confident enough to show your face and put your real name on your blog? [Oh, you're not. Didn't think so. Best to remain anonymous eh?] It's sad how much poison and scum there is here on the internet - and that the internet facilitates evil actions by anonymous weirdos against named people in a way which would simply not be possible offline - but that is the way of things for now. The anonymous idiots who attempt to smear and defame me will have no more impact upon my ministry than deluded and depraved porn enthusiast Michael Whiteacre will have on his main target (Shelley Lubben and the Pink Cross Foundation)... but though the victory is already won (by Jesus on the cross) in this war between the servants of good and the servants of evil, these skirmishes will continue until the King comes and puts a final end to all evil. An Englishman in New York (part 1)

I suppose I didn't see it coming because I never expected to be recruited by the CIA in a pound shop on Salford precinct. There I was last year, just browsing around Salford Shopping City, minding my own business, when a young American woman bumped into me by the bog rolls:

It's deeply disappointing that PM David Cameron has abandoned his 2010 Manifesto pledge to proscribe the highly dangerous islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir.

The group openly calls for the murder of Jews and has been banned in several European countries - but the Coalition government are not going to proscribe the group here.

It's crazy... the government now appears to be saying that to ban the group would be illegal.

This madness is largely to do with the perverse human rights laws which the UK is currently saddled with.

As far as I'm concerned, terrorists don't have any human rights, and the right to free speech does not include incitement to murder or the solicitation of racially-motivated crime.

I fail to see why other countries can ban Hizb ut-Tahrir but we can't.

Fallen Angel

I really hope that Prime Minister David Cameron is moved to do something about the 'sexting' trend and the sexualisation of British children for commercial exploitation. 'Sexting' is the current trend amongst some schoolchildren of using mobile phones to take and share pornographic photos of themselves and others.

How times have changed since I was at school. When I was at high school (1987-1992) there was no internet, no camera phones and no so-called 'lad's mags' (those pornographic magazines produced specifically for teenage boys, e.g. Nuts and Zoo). When I was at high school the pornography available to (under 18) teenage boys consisted of Page 3 material in The Sun or the recently established Daily Sport, and occasionally somebody might manage to get a glimpse of a top-shelf pornographic magazine like Mayfair, Escort or Fiesta. None of this material was hardcore pornography, and I don't recall anybody from my school days ever having either a magazine or a VHS video tape containing hardcore material. [As an aside, I might add that when I was at school we weren't exposed to 'sex education' like there is today either.]

Twenty years later and sadly it is now the case that the largest consumers of online hardcore pornography are teenage boys aged 12 to 17. And with the 'sexting' trend, we see that some schoolchildren under 16 are actually making and distributing their own pornography. Young teenage girls are growing up influenced by the TV and the media to think that pornographic-prostitutes such as Katie Price are role models to aspire to, and young teenage boys are growing up on a diet of freely available hardcore pornography, and so it is that pornographic photos of schoolgirls are circulating amongst schoolchildren (and about 40% of under 16s have engaged in sexual activity).

As a society, why are we allowing this appalling state of affairs? What are we doing to our children? As a society, by allowing our teenage children to engage in pornography we are destroying their lives - and the consequences are everywhere to be seen in broken Britain. I hope that in my lifetime British politicians will crack down on pornography and on sexualised media for the good of the nation.

'Northenden Chess Club'

You know the old light-bulb jokes: 'How many police officers does it take to change a light-bulb?' And even funnier is: 'How many chief police officers does it take to change a light-bulb?' My variation on a theme is: 'How many Greater Manchester Police officers does it take to email a political activist?'

A political activist in 2011 Britain has to try hard to love the police - and a socially-conservative political activist has to try especially hard. I've had some interesting dealings with Greater Manchester Police officers over the last couple of years.

I remember an interesting email I received from GMP's PC Jacky Thompson in December 2009, and an even more interesting telephone conversation with GMP's DC Rebecca Duggan in April 2010. I could recount a long list of officers, meetings, texts, calls, emails and letters from the last couple of years. Does GMP think I'm a sucker for (what I still refer to as) WPCs? It's anyone's guess what they think. What I think is business and pleasure don't go together.

There's a couple of things that need to be cleared up following (ongoing) email correspondence with South Manchester Division.

(1) WPCs from Northenden Police Station are not supplying prostitutes at the Sandy's Superstars brothel on Palatine Road with their cast-off uniforms and handcuffs.

(2) The 'Northenden Chess Club' has established that brothels proliferated in Manchester on Michael Todd's watch as Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police (2002-2008). Todd was a notorious adulterer and had numerous extra-marital sexual liaisons. Security services were alarmed about Todd's private life because of a tip-off that Todd was too close to Britain's own Heidi Fleiss, Manchester madam Sandra Jane Hankin, who was believed to be supplying Todd with expensive escort girls. The Sandy's Superstars gang has been under periodic surveillance for several years. Recent information cannot be revealed but, as an example of the intelligence gathered on the gang, in 2005 a Met handler managed to plant undercover agents posing as tradesmen into what was then Sandra Hankin's home in Merlewood Drive in Astley. The following extract is from notes in the Sandy's dossier [seen by myself] made by an agent in the summer of 2005: "...residents Sandra Jane Hankin, husband Mark, teenage daughter Sarah, elderly mother Jean. Husband very intelligent. Some difficulty maintaining cover story. Jean likes to play cards. Solid front door. All windows wood venetians. Secure property. No dogs. Swingers. (3) A face-to-face meeting of the 'Northenden Chess Club' is to be arranged. Discussions with Northenden police are proceeding.

(4) Adrian Paul Burch recently sought back-channel negotiations and was refused.

I daresay more than a few readers are wondering whether Greater Manchester Chief Constable Peter Fahy responded to the vice trade ultimatum presented to him last Friday. Did GMP's top man respond and, if so, what did he have to say? Well, I could tell you, but...

Whilst I am not at liberty to satisfy the curiosity of the curious at the present time, I can say quite unequivocally that if you want to watch the detectives then you'll need to look through a very strong looking glass indeed. Well, what can I say?... Former Labour Home Secretary Jacqui Smith recently called for pornographers to take a greater role in providing sex 'education' for British schoolchildren. Even if I don't point out that most sex-ed 'teaching' resources currently used to indoctrinate children in British classrooms are already by definition pornographic, and even if I don't point out that the failure of politicians to legislate in children's best interests means that our public culture and media are currently awash with all manner of pornography - the main viewers of which are teenagers... it simply beggars belief that any person formerly the Home Secretary thinks and publicly expresses the bizarre and insane opinion that pornographers should be more involved in the sex 'education' of schoolchildren!

Jacqui Smith was diabolical as Home Secretary and she ranks as one of the worst people ever to have held that office - indeed it's hard to understand how a woman of such low calibre was ever appointed to such a high office - but ex-teacher Jacqui calling for more pornography in the classroom is a shameful low point even for her.

I don't want to see Katie end up as another tragic victim of pornography, but unless something happens to bring her to her senses she will be just another sad statistic in 10 years' time.

The Poppy Project wants to see a Police crackdown on British brothels. Amen to that, I say. It is deeply regrettable that dealing with brothels is such a low priority for most British police forces. It is estimated that there are up to 6,000 brothels throughout England and Wales and in recent years the attitude of the police is such that (I estimate that) in any one year no more than 1-in-10 brothels are raided by the police and prosecuted.

I certainly think that my <10% raid-risk/year estimate applies on the patch of Greater Manchester Police. It's the reason why the same brothels are right there on our high streets year after year after year. We know they are brothels. The police know they are brothels. Punters on their websites like Punternet and the Little Black Book know they are brothels. Nobody seriously disputes that what's going on in places like Manchester's notorious Sandy's Superstars is prostitution. But the police never seem to be too bothered about the vice trade. Why?

Well, for one thing, our laws on prostitution are not really fit for purpose. It is basically not illegal to buy or sell sexual activity - though it should be (and it would be if I had political power). There are some laws relating to prostitution - such as the offence of being a brothel-keeper - which are ridiculously difficult, time/manpower consuming and expensive to successfully prosecute. In the case of nailing a brothel-keeper - for example Sandra Jane Hankin of Sandy's Superstars - the police have to prepare a raid for months in advance (involving lots of surveillance), do the raid (involving a lot of police officers at one time) and then follow through with the CPS paperwork and other work involved in a successful prosecution.

It's hardly surprising that vice trade gangsters think they are untouchable. For example, over the last few months I've been targeted by the Sandy's Superstars serious and organised criminal gang for harassment and intimidation; I've had numerous sinister emails; gangsters and prostitutes turning up at addresses where they think they can find me; an internet defamation campaign; and I even had one gangster - who identified himself as Paul Muscovitch, or 'Muzzer', the "Head of security for Sandy's" - accost me in the street and issue me with a death threat.

Nobody seriously doubts that there is some serious criminal activity going on in Manchester brothels like Sandy's Superstars. Reliable sources inform me that members of the Sandy's Superstars gang are involved not only in vice but also in illegal drugs, protection rackets, money laundering, child pornography and human trafficking.

Are Greater Manchester Police going to take action over this?

Good question.

Let's hope so (and sooner rather than later).

Notwithstanding the unhelpful nature of our extant laws on prostitution, Greater Manchester Police needs to pull its finger out soon and crack down hard on the proliferating brothels on its patch - and so does every other police force. One thing's for sure, if Greater Manchester Police don't stamp out the Sandy's Superstars gang soon then it's only a matter of time until somebody ends up shot dead because Manchester's vice wars are hotting up, both gangster-on-gangster and gangster-on-activist.

I think it's only a matter of time until the Sandy's Superstars gang attempts to shoot me - as they have already done a massive amount of attempted intimidation - and if that happens I will have to act in self-defence. If Greater Manchester Police can't enforce the law against serious and organised criminals on their own patch then civilians (like myself) will have no option but than to fight off the gangsters directly. For example, if the man who identified himself as Muzzer came after me again and produced a firearm then I would have no option other than to disarm him - with the danger that Muzzer might himself be shot with his own gun in the process.

I know that I'm in no mood to tolerate any further nonsense from Manchester's serious and organised vice trade criminals.

If Greater Manchester Police don't raid the Sandy's Superstars brothels and round up the SS gangsters this year then Manchester's civilians will be compelled of necessity to enforce the law instead.

We need a change in the law: quite simply it should be illegal to buy or sell sex. And until then we need British police forces to enforce to the hilt the current prostitution laws.

As an evangelical Christian, and a politically active one at that, I find that people often want to talk to me about sex. What do I think about this or that? Is such-and-such normal? Where can I get help? You know how it is. In our permissive and promiscuous contemporary culture, the field of Sexual Ethics is a stock-in-trade issue for activists such as myself. People know my stance in favour of chastity and marriage and so on... but exactly where do I stand when it comes to chocolate?

Well, in the above photo - which is, admittedly, rather saucy (chocolate sauce presumably) - we see an example of a young woman with completely the wrong idea in my opinion.

They say that men prefer sex to chocolate and women prefer chocolate to sex.

I say... why not have both?

But... probably best if not at the same time.

For one thing, unless you have chocolate-colour bed sheets, chocolate stains are a nightmare to get out.

For another, chocolate is a food for eating, whilst sex is nothing to do with food or eating.

Some people confuse having sex with having a meal.

Why are there no broccophiles? I've yet to hear of anybody with a broccoli fetish in bed. But when it comes to chocophiles I daresay there are a few. Who knows what some girls get up to with a Kitkat Chunky bar? Or what some lads get up to with a chocolate doughnut?

But... it's really a perversion - right? Food and sex: two different things - yes?

Do you not instantly recoil in disgust at a line like "Who knows what some girls get up to with a Kitkat Chunky bar?"

If you don't, may I humbly suggest that perhaps you should?

In our permissive society, the fundamental lie behind the whole sexual revolution is that sexual activity is the only area of human behaviour in which the rights and wrongs of morality no longer apply. Since when?

I guess most people still recognise that rape is morally wrong.

But of course there are plenty of other behaviours relating to sex (or the perversion of it) that are also morally wrong [and, we should also note, there is right and good sexual behaviour too].

For example - let's be honest - a woman who makes out like a Cadbury's Flake is a penis in her mouth has 'got issues' - and at heart the chief issue is the problem of her lack of 'moral sanity.'

The primary function of having sex is to bind a husband and wife together in their marriage and for the husband and wife to give and receive love through their acts of sexual union. (Pleasure, incidentally, is a product of good sexual intercourse - but not the purpose, not an end in itself.)

Eating chocolate is therefore a separate issue.

Chocolate consumption simply cannot fulfil the function or serve the purpose for which sexual intercourse is designed (and neither can masturbation, or pornography, or homosexual behaviour).

Here then are my Doctor Richard sex tips:

(1) Get married;

(2) Have regular sex with your husband or wife;

(3) Eat chocolate... before sex, after sex - but not during sex.

As an anti-vice activist I regularly receive all sorts of emails about the dark and dangerous world that is prostitution. An anti-vice associate of mine is currently investigating links between organised crime in Manchester, Liverpool, Preston and Blackpool - as well as examining the relationship between brothel gangs, webcam pornographers and trafficking. I recently did a brief research job for my associate which involved investigating the Manchester connections of 22-year-old Blackpool pornographic-prostitute Katie K [or Katie Kay], pictured above.

Katie K does indeed have Manchester connections but I found no evidence to suggest that she has ever been a common prostitute - though she is of course notorious as a pornographic-prostitute.

In researching Katie K, I thought that she might make a good case study to blog about here, in order to make a few points about pornography and the British pornographic trade - hence this blog-post.

One thing that I have in common with Katie is that we both blog.

Katie's blog is here (and be warned, the content is pornographic); except where stated all of the following quotations are taken from various blog-posts which are currently live on Katie's blog.

So, what do we know about Katie?

Well, she's a 22-year-old pornographic prostitute from Blackpool and she's been prostituting herself in the British pornographic trade for 4 years.

I've never met Katie in person but I have no reason to disagree with Katie's autobiographical statement on her Myspace page where she claims that: "I'm a charismatic girl with a sparkling personality and a great sense of humour."

From reading her blog I'm inclined to agree that Katie is an outgoing extrovert and quite a lively character by nature.

Katie is optimistic and idealistic on her blog:

"Finally it's a brand new year! And do you know what a brand new year means? A brand new you! A brand new start! Brand new opportunities! New Years Eve isn't just about the celebrations and being with your most nearest and dearest, it's about flushing out what you don't need or want anymore and creating spaces for new beginnings."

"2011 is going to be MY year. I have so many amazing projects launching this year and I want this to be the year that begins my career and my path in life."

It's hard not to warm to this enthusiastic girl with a passion for living life to the full.

But I wonder how realistic is Katie's hope that 2011 will be the year that begins her career and her path in life? She's already been doing porn for 4 years and she's clearly disillusioned with the pornographic industry - as we shall see in a moment - and the only path in life that porn takes any person down is the highway to hell.

Next month Katie is launching her own pornographic website and also this year she is starting up the Katie K Boutique, a business to sell erotic lingerie, and Katie K Empire Management, a business to manage other pornographic-prostitutes.

"February is a very important month for me! Not only is my website launching on Valentines Day, but the end of February sees the launch of my Model Management company! ... I became fed up of people taking advantage of models and models falling for scams over and over. It's time for a change and hopfully that's where I come in! Katie K Empire Management is where I care for the models and help them through this challenging, difficult and competitive industry. If there was something like this in the industry when I started out, I wouldn't have fallen for the scams... I want to protect models and that's why this company has been created! Go Team Katie!"

"4 years ago when I started in the adult industry, it was a lovely place to be. Now it isn't so much, which is really upsetting. Only because there have been so many really hurtful and nasty rumours going around the industry about anybody and everybody."

"I am doing everything that I can to set up my projects to invite girls into a lovely and calm part of the industry where there will be no rumours, no lies, no need to defend yourself... Bullying will be forbidden... I want to protect the ladies of the industry and I want the industry to change. I wanted to change Britains perception of the industry because it's not full of drug abusing bimbos... but just recently there are a lot of fuck overs, time wasters, back stabbers, etc etc. ... Well believe me, there is a BIG project in the making that will help the wonderful girls of british adult entertainment. There are going to be some TOP british adult names involved in this project to make it happen. I'm so so excited and I really want to do this for the girls. I want them to be safe, happy and secure."

People taking advantage? Scams? Hurtful and nasty rumours? Lies? Bullying? Drug abuse? Back stabbing?

Well who would have thought that the British pornographic trade is so nasty and horrible?

One thing I like about Katie - as well as her enthusiasm - is that I do think she sincerely wants to do some good for others. Of course she is kidding herself if she thinks she is going to stop the exploitation of women in the pornographic trade.

Pornography is all about the exploitation of women. Pornography enslaves women, denies their God-given humanity and makes them into sub-human sex objects.

Katie refers to "the wonderful girls of british adult entertainment" and she's right, every pornographic-prostitute is wonderful - but not in the way that Katie means. Every prostitute is wonderful because every one is - as the Bible says - 'wonderfully made' and every one is made in the image of God. Each and every prostitute has God-given dignity, although engaging in prostitution stains the human soul and tarnishes the image of God in every girl who prostitutes herself. But of course Jesus gives 'a brand new start' to every prostitute who wants to be clean again, to every prostitute who wants 'new beginnings', to 'flush out what she doesn't want anymore' and to begin a good 'path in life'. Prostitutes who want to be whole and happy women can turn away from prostitution, turn to Jesus and receive the amazing abundant life that only comes from knowing Him. Just like ex-prostitute Shelley Lubben.

I want Katie K (and indeed all women) to be 'safe, happy and secure'. That's why I hope and pray that 2011 really will be a breakthrough year in Katie's life. May 2011 be the year that Katie K quits porn!

As Katie said: "4 years ago when I started in the adult industry, it was a lovely place to be. Now it isn't so much, which is really upsetting."

I don't believe Katie where she says that: "I love my fans wanking over me and enjoying my filthyness."

There isn't a woman alive who loves being filthy.

As with all prostitutes, the only reason why Katie invites bad men to "Watch me on Television X being a FILTHY SLUT!!!" is not because she loves being a filthy slut but because bad men give her money for being a filthy slut.

But the good news is that all the filthiness can be 'flushed out' of a young woman when she welcomes Jesus into her life. Katie K doesn't have to remain a filthy slut. Being a filthy slut is not the path she is meant to pursue in life. Katie is meant for so much better. The blood of Jesus shed on the cross for Katie K can wash away all the filth of her prostitution. Katie K can be a new woman with the sure hope of a good future, and the interesting thing is, Jesus has been knocking on the door of her heart lately, in a way that He often does - through dreams:

"...I've been doing a lot of thinking and reminiscing! I do this a lot when I get some free time... You see, just recently I've been having weird dreams. Just dreams with people in who I haven't seen in ages, or people I don't associate myself with anymore or people who remind me of a certain time in my life... Sometimes I dream of people I've never even met but have somehow had an impact on my life! I don't know why I get these dreams but sometimes it can really annoy me, or upset me but mostly it just confuses me! Dreams are weird and I can accept that. Some people don't really dream much, but I dream every single night. I find it odd, I wish I knew what they meant! But dreaming of certain people last night got me thinking about my life today... Shelley Lubben to address Cambridge Union Society porn debate on 17 February 2011

My good friend Shelley Lubben is to speak at a pornography debate hosted by the Cambridge Union Society on 17th February 2011.

The Cambridge University student debating society is to debate the motion: "This house believes that pornography does a good public service."

Californian Shelley Lubben is a former prostitute and pornographic-prostitute [i.e. hardcore porn film performer] whose life was saved and transformed when she encountered the Lord Jesus Christ. Shelley now campaigns against prostitution, pornography and promiscuity and advocates for sexual purity instead, and she is a gospel evangelist preaching the good news about Jesus.

Needless to say, Shelley will be opposing the motion in favour of pornography (as do I).

Although of course pornography is evil (and proven to be addictive and harmful and a cause of sexual crime), I would expect that the Cambridge Union Society will conclude in favour of pornography, because Cambridge University is a bastion of secular-humanism and because most of today's generation of students aged 18 to 21 have grown up in our contemporary promiscuous culture and are thus familiar with pornography and are desensitised to sexual imagery, and because many of these students will have been indoctrinated with pornography at school (grooming in the guise of sex 'education'), and because probably the majority of these students are already promiscuous [i.e. sexually active outside marriage] and also regular users of pornography.

In Chapter Four of my book Definitely Sexy (2009), on pages 10 and 11 of the PDF, I wrote about Lytton Strachey and the Bloomsbury Set of Cambridge graduates. It is interesting to see that a hundred years ago Cambridge University graduates were at the forefront of academic advocacy in opposition to marriage, censorship and the Victorian moral orthodoxy and in favour of 'free love' promiscuity, pornography and homosexual behaviour.

Edwardian-era Cambridge graduates were some of the earliest ideological sex radicals in rebellion against Victorian moral standards, and the harvest from the seed they sowed was the 1960s sexual revolution - which destroyed the fabric of British society and brought the British people to the present state of chronic crisis.

I will be pleasantly surprised if today's Cambridge students reject the motion to be debated, because I suspect most Cambridge students these days can't get enough of pornography.

The secular-humanist mindset rejects the truth that certain things are morally wrong and it isn't even interested by evidence of harm and adverse social consequences. In the secular-humanist mindset pornography is good, it is not harmful and pornographers are free speech champions.

I've no doubt that Shelley Lubben will get a tough time from depravity-loving Cambridge students - and Cambridge may also be something of a culture shock for the Californian - but I nevertheless expect that Shelley will acquit herself well.

This week the Salford Advertiser newspaper has published a letter from me. The published letter is an edited version of the letter I actually wrote but it nevertheless gets across the point I wanted to make - so my thanks to the Salford Advertiser. The published version reads as follows:

Thanks Advertiser for the recent report on Salford and Eccles candidates, I would like to point out some major differences between Hazel Blears and myself. The 13-year Parliamentary voting record of Blears speaks for itself.

Blears has voted in favour of gambling and euthanasia and has consistently opposed free speech safeguards. Blears has voted for allowing unmarried couples and homosexuals to adopt children. Blears has voted for restricting the parental right to smack. Blears voted for the abolition of the law (section 28) which protected children from homosexual propaganda at school. Blears has voted for research using human cloning. Blears voted for civil partnerships and other pro-gay legislation.

In 2008 Blears voted against providing information and offering counselling to women considering abortion, voted against keeping the requirement to consider a child's need for a father before fertility treatment, voted against a ban on creating animal-human hybrid embryos, voted against a ban on creating so-called 'saviour siblings' and voted against reducing the abortion limit from 24 weeks.

In view of Blears' unswerving support for the militant homosexuals, and given her recent opposition to the restoration of a marriage-friendly tax system, there is no doubting where Blears stands on major moral issues. Blears has trumpeted her support for a midwife-led maternity unit at Salford Royal but it concerns me that she does not support parenting, families and the right to life itself. On average two to three abortions take place daily at Salford Royal and Blears supports this; I do not.

Voters have a choice at this election. I stand for traditional British morals. Voters should think about more than the economy, housing and the NHS, important as these are. Our country is a mess because of anti-life, anti-family and anti-moral social views. We've got to get back to traditional British standards.

The comment thread attached to the Salford Advertiser's news article about me, Matthew Sephton and the (Thought) Police has irritated me on several occasions because comments I have submitted to it have not been published (despite the fact that I am the named subject under attack). Below is the latest comment which I have submitted to this thread and which has not been published; I am mystified as to why the Salford Advertiser won't publish this.

[To give you the context: had this comment been published it would have been the 48th comment on the thread.]

The disgusting and defamatory comments that are made about me on the internet are horrifying but as a parliamentary candidate it is inevitable that enemies will stop at nothing in their efforts to spread lies about me: like it or not - that's politics. I'd like if I may to set the record straight for the benefit of anybody who may be confused by such anti-Carvath propaganda and who may be wondering just what I do represent and why. I think that being, as I am, Richard Carvath, I am the best qualified person there is to explain the truth of what Carvathian politics are all about!

I don't hate people, I love people - regardless of what they do. Because I love people, I care about them and want the best for them. For example, because I love homosexuals I want to see them healed from their perversion and able to live out their normal and natural heterosexuality. And as another example, because I love people - parents, couples and children - I want to see couples get married and stay married because married couples and their children have the best life outcomes across all social indicators regardless of background, education or income. There is a distinction to be drawn between people and their behaviour: I believe that all people are to be loved unconditionally - but behaviour and attitudes are to be judged and responded to on moral merit (or lack of) and on the consequences.

It is a fundamental principle of being human that we reap what we sow. If a girl chooses to be promiscuous and in consequence contracts HPV and subsequently dies of a promiscuity-acquired cancer then she has only herself to blame. But that's not a tragedy that I want to see happen, and that's why I encourage all teenagers to wait until getting married before having sex: clearly, two people who marry as virgins and are faithful for life aren't going to get promiscuity-diseases. Because I love people I warn them of danger and encourage them to take the right path of health, happiness and prosperity.

Until the 1960s the norm in British society was that most people got married and the average age for getting married was 21 for a woman and 23 for a man; the vast majority of these young newlyweds were virgins (or else they were marrying their only sexual partner). I hardly need state why this was the best possible state of affairs for all concerned, and since this is how it was within living memory there is no reason why British society can't reject promiscuity and perversion and get back to living in the way that is best for us.

The UK is historically a liberal representative democracy founded upon Judaeo-Christian principles. The Judaeo-Christian foundations of the British nation have been deliberately and severely undermined by a determined minority of misguided secular-humanists who have wielded power out of all proportion to their numbers in politics and in the media and with remarkably destructive effect since the 1960s - which only goes to prove that our Judaeo-Christian foundations are best and that we urgently need to wholeheartedly return to and restore our British Christian heritage in the interests of everybody (whether Christian or not). Islam is an evil, totalitarian and alien ideology and the thought of it replacing British liberal representative democracy and the British Christian Constitutional Monarchy with a barbaric Taliban Sharia state fills me and every other right thinking person in the country with the utmost horror.

It is a fundamental duty of Government to protect its citizens from foreign aggressors, to maintain order and to restrain evil. Balanced censorship is good as it protects the vulnerable and restrains evil. I make no apologies for wanting to crush and destroy the British pornographic trade - a trade which causes misery and devastation on a grand scale, poisoning men and women alike. Similarly I make no apologies for wanting to clamp down on the evil and exploitation of prostitution: I don't want women slaves being trafficked and prostituted and suffering in our country as is happening at present. I don't hide the fact that I want to ban pornography but if anybody says I want to veil women newsreaders on the BBC or some other such ridiculous nonsense then I think we can all safely say that such an individual is being very silly and does not represent my views. Indeed, my blog is famously the sexiest blog in Salford with the sexiest women! My message has always been that women and men are equal in worth and complementary in their differences: I believe in a society in which men are men, women are women and we all play to the strengths of our natural gender roles.

I am opposed to the militant homosexual political agenda (as exemplified by Stonewall) and which is synonymous with the orthodoxy behind the buzzwords of 'Equality' and 'Diversity' which the British secular-humanist elite is trying to impose on an unwilling British public. The meaning of the word 'Equality' as it is used by the Stonewall brigade is an utter perversion of the true meaning of equality. The 'Equality' and 'Diversity' agenda is about forcing us all to tolerate evil and depravity - any evil, any depravity, no matter how bad, whilst at the same time trying to suppress and ostracise anybody standing up for the moral absolutes of right and wrong as a 'Hate Criminal'.

It is a moral truth and a medical fact that homosexuality is a perversion - and a dangerous, life-shortening perversion at that. The gay lifestyle choice is bad for homosexuals and bad for broader society which has to pick up the pieces of all the tragic gay victims of AIDS, syphilis, hepatitis etc. Why on earth we would want to tell our schoolchildren anything about this disastrous practice I do not know! Until 1967 British law had the right attitude towards the homosexual perversion: homosexuality was illegal. I advocate that British law ought to be returned to that wise approach. When homosexuality is re-criminalised as it should be, homosexuals will still be free to indulge in the perversion in private if they so wish but we as a 99% heterosexual society can expect to see a reduction in sexually transmitted diseases, a reduction in paedophilic crime and happier, safer children untroubled by perversion propaganda in the classroom. It is in homosexuals' best interests that the perversion is re-criminalised because this would discourage homosexual behaviour and encourage homosexuals to accept the fact that as human beings they are actually heterosexual: homosexuals are really heterosexuals in need of healing.

My politics are all about love, truth and social justice. My politics are pro-people, pro-family and pro-life. My politics encourage doing the right thing. My politics lead to health, happiness and prosperity. Seeking the very best for all people is right at the heart of my political motivation. It is for these reasons that millions of people in this country and around the world agree with the social and political views which I represent.

The National Minimum Wage is currently £5.80. This is also too low. A NMW worker on a standard 37-and-a-half-hour week makes just £217.50 a week. I believe that the lowest paid full time workers should be paid a minimum of £250 a week and that they should not be liable for income tax. As MP for Salford and Eccles I will work for a better National Minimum Wage and tax exemption for the poorest workers because everybody who works full time - whatever they do - should be entitled to a living wage. To work full time for less than a living wage is to be exploited at best - and at worst, enslaved by wage poverty.

2010 is here and it is not long now until the General Election. If the General Election is held on the most likely date of 6th May then it's just under 18 weeks to go. And if as some have speculated it is held even earlier on 25th March then it's just under 12 weeks to go. One thing's for sure: it ain't far off.

I began to seriously consider standing as a candidate back in October 2008; I decided that I would definitely stand in February 2009. I made an official public declaration that I would stand as an Independent candidate for Salford and Eccles on St. George's Day, 23rd April 2009, right here on this blog. I was the first person to declare that I would run against Hazel Blears as an Independent, and my declaration was made before the parliamentary expenses scandal which so badly damaged Blears' reputation hit the headlines.

[The 'Hazel Must Go' group only came into being after the media storm over Blears' expense claims, and I have always thought that this group of extreme left-wingers masquerading as a 'community group' would never have got going were it not for the cynical opportunism of the small hardcore gang who recognised that this was their chance to grab the media limelight. The HMG group has enjoyed a level of media indulgence and attention which it has never merited (given that HMG has never to date produced either a candidate or a manifesto) - much to my disgust - but I've simply had to watch the media circus around HMG, shrug my shoulders and get on with my campaign. I've absolutely no doubt that over 2009 I've had less media coverage than I've genuinely merited as a declared candidate with a serious manifesto - and that the biggest reason for this is almost certainly the major media diversion which the HMG freak show has been in this constituency - but I have nevertheless fought hard to break into the media and I have succeeded in getting major coverage.]

Well, 2009 was a hard and hectic year to say the least! I blogged over 50,000 words on this blog alone last year - some of which is available in the archive on my main website - and I attended dozens of meetings and events in and around the Salford and Eccles constituency area. I published a proper manifesto and I grasped the nettle of 'Do I or don't I attempt to do video?' Believe me, you don't want to know how many hours of agony it takes to prepare for, film, edit and upload what is just a 3 or 4 minute basic camcorder video for YouTube - and a significant aspect to the agony of doing it which might not immediately occur to you unless I point it out is the political context, by which I mean the challenge of working out exactly what [and what not] to do and say in a political video and how. Believe me, to try to make political video material and get it anywhere near half decent is a nightmare.

Since becoming an Independent PPC I don't mind stating that being a PPC has meant that I've done literally hundreds of hours of work in pursuit of the ultimate end goal and I shudder to think what the total bill to me for it all has been if one were to weigh up the full financial costs both direct and indirect (loss of earnings especially). It's been costly in many ways but I believe that the end purpose is worth the struggle.

In addition to going after media coverage and attending meetings and events during 2009 (and in addition to earning a crust) I distributed leaflets in 2009 and worked towards building a support base of people in the constituency - as well as finishing my first socio-political book and doing the voluntary work of a political activist which was not connected to my standing for Salford and Eccles.

2009 was a tough year but a good one. I enter 2010 on the foundation of the hard work done in 2009 and I trust that the seeds sown last year will provide a good harvest in 2010.

Media coverage is vital for any candidate to have a good chance of winning a General Election. Voters need to be aware of the existence of a candidate and voters need to know what a candidate stands for if a candidate is to win. All things considered I've had a good year for media coverage in 2009.

In the Salford and Eccles constituency for the 2010 General Election, the key [local] news source is unquestionably the Salford Advertiser newspaper (in print, not online). Things may have changed in another 4 or 5 years' time, but for the 2010 General Election the print edition of the Salford Advertiser remains far and away the single most important news source for making voters aware of who the candidates are and what they stand for; the Salford Advertiser is the most influential opinion-former of any news source acting upon voters in Salford and Eccles and that is the political reality whether candidates (or others) like it or not.

In 2009 I got a good level of coverage in the Salford Advertiser and I therefore enter 2010 well placed to defeat Hazel Blears and win the General Election.

The print edition of the Salford Advertiser really is where any candidate needs to get covered. In 2009 my name was mentioned once in an online Salford Star news article and I featured twice in online video interviews published on the SalfordOnline website. Voters may also become aware of me and be influenced by my website and my online videos. The internet is relatively insignificant as an opinion-former in Salford and Eccles for this General Election. It remains the case that over half of the voters who comprise the Salford and Eccles electorate do not have home internet access, which has led me to conclude that as far as my candidature is concerned for the coming General Election, the internet has the potential to influence a maximum of 15% of the Salford and Eccles electorate. So just how have I fared in good ol' newsprint in 2009?

Specifically in the context of me being a political candidate for Salford and Eccles:

(1) The Salford Advertiser newspaper published my photo 4 times during the year 2009.

(2) The name Richard Carvath was published in 13 different editions of the weekly Salford Advertiser in 2009.

The 13 different editions in Point (2) above break down as follows:

(a) The Salford Advertiser published 2 letters by me in 2009.

(b) The Salford Advertiser published 4 letters about me in 2009.

(c) The Salford Advertiser published the name Richard Carvath in 4 news articles (for which I was not the main subject) in 2009.

(d) The Salford Advertiser published 3 major news articles about me (including my photo) in 2009.
